There are different committees designated to City specific issues, these meetings are held to consider and refine legislation. Bills, resolutions and government appointees are discussed and approved upon during committee meetings, they are listed as “Agenda Items”. Role of committee Chair and Vice Chair: The committee Chair has complete discretion over whether or not to hear a measure and/or vote on it.

Subjects tend to overlap each other, but are placed in the most relevant committee. Each committee can nominate members of the public to different City commissions.
