Radiant has dedicated her career to her community through various roles in nonprofits, journalism, and local government. While in school, she worked for Abilities Unlimited – Winners at Work, working with persons with disabilities on job training and retention and ClubCharm, USA, working with keiki on leadership development and even filling the void during Furlough Fridays. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degrees, she served as a legislative aide at the Office of the Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives, while still serving at the nonprofits and taking on two additional front desk jobs at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. She also served as assistant editor for the Fil-Am Courier, a (Hawai‘i’s leading and longest running Filipino publication). Radiant previously served as chief of staff to Honolulu City Councilmember Joey Manahan of District 7, where she worked on many issues related to homelessness, public safety, critical infrastructure, city budget, transportation, and fighting for county resources at the State Legislature. She is a tireless advocate for the community that she has called home for her entire life and has been shaped into the servant leader she is today by the people and culture within it.

Police officers and traffic controls will be in place to assist motorists. Please observe all traffic signs, anticipate/plan for possible delays, and drive with caution.

Construction Notice: Dillingham Blvd/Kohou St

Construction Notice: Kamehameha Highway Eastbound Closed between Laumaka Street and Middle Street

Latest Update as of February 2024:

Beginning of November 2023, the project work zone will be shifted to the makai side of Dillingham Boulevard, from Middle Street to Mokauea Street. The travel lanes will be on the mauka side of Kamehameha Highway and Dillingham Boulevard, and the work zone will be on the makai side. All traffic rules remain the same, such as the left turn restriction from and onto Kamehameha Highway and Dillingham Boulevard (except from intersections), one east and one west-bound travel lane, etc.

The Dillingham Utilities Relocation project extends from Middle Street to Ka'aahi Street, on Kamehameha Highway and Dillingham Boulevard. Please continue to be mindful when traveling along and around the work zone area. Always abide by and be aware of all signage and coning, and please:

  • Do not take the restricted left turns off of Kamehameha Highway and Dillingham Boulevard.
  • Observe the bus-dedicated lanes. The bus-dedicated lanes allow buses to service passengers while allowing through-traffic to continue.
  • Do not cross through the work zone area to access bus stops or other areas near the work zone. Please use the open sidewalks and pedestrian-designated zones.
  • Do not enter private driveways or take U-turns to access Kamehameha Highway or Dillingham Boulevard.
  • Plan for delays and travel detours by leaving a few minutes earlier.
